Next sunday, the Aquitaine Region, the Atlantic-Pyrenees department and the city of Pau will host a preliminary round of the 18^th World Women’s Handball Championship.

This worldwide competition will create an unprecedented highlight on our sport for the first Women’s World Championship team sport to be held in France.

Supported, by all Regional and local authorities as well as 137 clubs, the Aquitaine Handball League has the will to lead the sporty & non sporty public to enter into the handball spirit, and to share with everyone the Handball fever which already caught 18,000 registered members.

It is with a great pleasure that we shall inform you during the course of the coming weeks about the Handball World championship in Aquitaine. We hope that most of you will come to celebrate handball in our beautiful south west of France.
